AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, Washington, reestablishing rates and fees formally
listed in Appendix A of Chapter 15.06 and further amending
certain rates and fees reestablished herein.
WHEREAS, the City Council, by separate ordinance, amended Chapter 15.06 of
the Bremerton Municipal Code, to remove Appendix A from the code regarding assessments,
rates, fees and charges for services relating to the Department of Public Works and Utilities, and
make other related amendments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to reestablish the rates and fees contained in
former Appendix A of Chapter 15.06 of the Bremerton Municipal Code by this ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the City Council also desires to amend the rates reestablished herein;
NOW THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, WASHINGTON,
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Rate Tables established. Rates and fees for services relating to the
Department of Public Works and Utilities for water, wastewater, stormwater and other related
services, as formally listed in Appendix A of Chapter 15.06 of the Bremerton Municipal Code, is
hereby reestablished as set forth in the rates tables attached hereto as Exhibit A, incorporated
herein by reference.
SECTION 2. Rate Tables amended. The rate tables as adopted and set forth in
Exhibit A are amended as highlighted establishing new rates and fees effective January 1, 2011.
SECTION 3. Severabilitv. If any one or more sections, subsections, or
sentences of this ordinance are held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portion of this ordinance and the same shall remain in full
force and effect.
SECTION 4. E ffective Date. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage. •
