AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, Washington, repealing and replacing in its entirety
Chapter 3.01 of the Bremerton Municipal Code regarding rates and
fees for services relating to the Department of Financial Services,
Municipal Court, Department of Community Development, Police
Department, Fire Department, Parks and Recreation Department
and the Department of Public Works.
WHEREAS, the City Council desire to repeal and replace in its entirety Chapter
3.01 of the Bremerton Municipal Code to remove from the code rates and fees for services
relating to the Department of Financial Services, Municipal Court, Department of Community
Development, Police Department, Fire Department, Parks and Recreation Department and the
Department of Public Works and Utilities, which rates and fees will be reestablished by separate
resolution, and make other related amendments; NOW THEREFORE, �
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, WASHINGTON,
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
- SECTIDN 1. Chapter 3.01 of the Bremerton Municipal Code is hereby repealed
in its entirety and replaced with a new chapter 3.01 to read as follows: �
3.01.010 RATES AND FEES ESTABLISHED.
' Rates and fees for services relating to the Department of Financial Services, Municipal
Court, Department of Community Development, Police Department, Fire Department, Parks and
Recreation Department, Department of Public Works and Utilities, Bremerton Kitsap Access
Television (BKAT) and other related services are established by Resolution or Ordinance and are
on file with the City Clerk and may be posted or linked on the City of Bremerton's website.
SECTION 2. Severabilitv. If any one or more sections, subsections, or
sentences of this ordinance are held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portion of this ordinance and the same shall remain in full
force and effect. v
SECTION 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force ten
(10) days from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
