SUMMARY: BMC Chapter 2.50, Section 2.50.032 (a) requires Council confirmation for the appointment of
a Department Director. Council confirmation is requested to hire Rabecca Hasart as Director of Financial
Services. Mrs. Hasart's career spans 15 years in the public sector as Finance Director /City Clerk with the City
of Washougal and Finance Manager with the City of Dupont. She holds a Bacheors Degree in Business
Administration with emphasis in Accounting from the University of Washington and has completed one year
towards an Executive Masters of Public Adminstration. Due to Ms. Hasart's education and experience a
hiring level of Step 3 has been negotiated.

employment with the City of Bremerton
