Section 3. The City DiE of the Cit-Y of - Ereiiiertor, is
hereby direct , 6 to submit to the Cit, Core - ission at or rrior to the

cost and expense of such improvement, and a statement of the
proportionate amount thereof, vhich should be borne by the property
vithin the rrorosed assessment district, and a statement of the

,Ere&ate assessed valuation of the real estate, exclusive of
im - provenrerts, vithin such proposed district, according to the
valuation last placed upon it for the purpose of a Ceneral taxation,
together 7ith a diagram or plan showinp thereon the lots, tracts
and parcels of land and other property vil ? be specially
benefited thereby and the estimated amount of the cost and
expense of such improvement to be borne by each lot, tract or
parcel of 1nn6 or other property.
Section 4. That there shall be assessed against th=at portion
of the pro lying bet+.een the termini of said i-proveri,ent
and extendirjM, bach from the marginal lines of each of said streets
so i..- proved to the raiddle of the block on each side thereof, which
distance back shall be at !east 90 feet from said street margin,
in the mode prescribed by Section 113, Charter 98 of the Session
Lams of the State of Washington for 1911, and Section. 2, Chapter
168 of the Session Lava of 1915, of said State, the cost of said
improvement, except such as may be borne by the Fe•eral fund and
except such as mad, be borne by ary depart-ment or administration of
the United States Government, and except such as may be borne by
any department or -DOmini at ration of the State of or
the United States Government for relief or other purroses.
Section 5. The City Clerk be and he is hereby directed to
give notice of the date of such hearinc to each owner or re-uted
owner of any and all lots, tracts or rarcels of land, or other
property, specially benefited by the improvement, by mailing to
the ovner or reputed owner of the property, as shov.-n on the tax
rolls of the County Treasurer, at the address shown thereon, a
notice setting, forth the nature of the proposed iT,. - , rroverePt, the
total estimated cost and the estimated benefits to the particular
lot, tract or parcel, and the date of the hearing° before the City
Comuiission at least 15 days before the date fixed herein for
such hearinE
Section 6. That Saturday, then vo-Ow day of SArP7 -^VJrR ,
1935 at 10 o'clock A. of said day be the same is hereby
fixed as the date of hearing protests against said improvement by
any persons interested therein; and the City Clerk be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to publish a cony of this
resolution in the offJ cial nez...,spaper of seid city for at least tTo
successive issues, the first issue shall be at least 15 days prior
to the date herein fi.Led for said hearing, and said publication,
together kith the mailing, of the curds hereinabove provided to the
owners or reputed ovners of the lots and parcels of land included
in such improvement as hereinbefore set forth, small be cue and
