WHEREAS the County of Kitsap, State of 7 foreclosed
for {general taxes on
Lot Fifteen (15), Block Eleven (11), Second Addition
to Charleston, Kitsap County, T`ashinpton;
and the said property was struck to the said Kitsap County at the
tax foreclosure sale, and that at the time of szo.ch foreclosure
sale there were delinquent assessments against said property
payable to different local improvement districts in the City of
Charleston, prior to its'eonsolidation with the City of Bremerton;
and the City of Bremerton did pay to Kitsap Courty, the taxes
thereon as by law provided, and now has a Treasurer's Deed to
said premises; and the said City of Bremerton is desirous of
selling said property to pay the taxes and delinquent assessments
against said property; ard,
WFEREAS, the City Commission has ar offer of purchase of
said property made by J. A. Baker, a married man, for a consider-
ation of Four Hundred Fifteen 0415.00) Dollars in cash, the said
purchaser to pay all assessments coming due after the date
hereof, and that it is the concensus of orinior of the City
Commission that the said property should be sold to the said
J. A. Baker, a married man, for such consideration, the same
being the amount of County and State taxes a #ainst said property,
together with assessments thereof, therefore,
BE TT RESOLV=E' by the City Commission of the City of
Bremerton that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to sell said above described property to
the said J. A. Baker, a married man, for the total consideration of
Four hundred Fifteen ($415.00) Dollars, and for that rurrose
to execute end deliver a quit -claim deed to said I.ronerty to the
said J. A. Baker, a married man, in .he name of the City of
Bremerton upon the payment of such purchase price.
PASSED by the City Commission, signed by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage
this l *th day of December, 1935.
