WHEREAS, members of the Kiwanis Club of the City of Bremerton
have performed a great deal of labor in preparing the fill on the
east side of Evergreen Park for a tennis court; and,
WEREAS, the members of said Club are desivous of building a
tennis court at said place for the use of its members and the
citizens of Bremerton under proper regulations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COTP�ISSION OF THE
CITY OF BRMMRTON, in regular session assembled:
THAT the Kiwanis Club of the City of Bremerton be, and they
are, hereby authorized to build a tennis court on the fill on the
east side of the Park, and to place thereon such construction as
may be necessary to meet the needs of such tennis court.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the said Kiwanis Club be, and
they are, hereby authorized to use said fill. and 9W tennis court,
when constructed, ,,Br the accommodation of its members under such
rules and regulations as may be adopted when approved by the Com-
mission of the City of Bremerton, provided, that such rules and
regulations shall permit the reasonable use of such tennis court
by the public generally; and,
PROVIDED FURTHER, That this authorization and permit shall
extend for two (2) years from the date hereof, and such authoriza-
tion may be further extended by action of the City Commission of ,the
City of Bremerton. �
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
