CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSION MINUTES OCT 0L4�2010
September 29, 2010
A Study Session of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the First
Floor Meeting Chambers of the N ORM DICKs GOVERNMENT CENTER, 345 6t Street, Bremerton,
Washington, Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at 5:00 PM, with Council Vice - President Will
Maupin presiding. Council Members present were Carol Arends, Dianne Robinson, Greg
Wheeler, Roy Runyon, Cecil McConnell, and Jim McDonald. Council President Nick Wofford
and Council Member Adam Brockus were absent. Legislative Assistant Lori Smith was present
to provide staff support.
Vice - President Maupin announced that the Study Session was open to the public, however
there would be no opportunities for input or participation; that no action will be taken, and the
content of these items is subject to change:
A. Request to apply for an Economic Development District (EDD) Grant — Vincent Akhimie,
Public Works & Utilities Director; and Thomas Knuckey, Utilities Managing Engineer
General Business on October 6 Council Meeting
At 5:16 PM, a joint discussion between the Bremerton City Council and the South Kitsap
Fire & Rescue Fire Commissioners was held on the following item:
B. Presentation on the "Consolidation Fact Finding Financial Report — Bremerton Assistant
City Attorney Ken Bagwell; Bremerton Fire Chief Al Duke; South Kitsap Fire & Rescue Chief
Wayne Senter Information Only
C. GENERAL COUNCIL BUSINESS
General City Council business was shared.
With no further business, Vice - President Maupin adjourned the Study Session at 6:02 PM.
