RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bremerton
that whereas the Bremerton Active Club, a voluntary service organization, is
about to erect a monumental archway at the point where the Navy Yard highway
enters the City of Bremerton, said archway to be donated to the City of Bremer-
ton as a permanent fixture and whereas the construction and donation of said
ar"chway as planned will be because of its beauty of distinct value to said
C - -ty and vhere3s the said Active Club will not in the future have the facility
or the same opportunity to preserve said archway that the City itself will have
now therefore, it is
RESOLVED that said archway to be built as planned be and is
hereby accepted -by this commission on behalf of the citizens of Bremerton
and the City by this resolution notifies the said Active Club that it hereby
undertakes to preserve and keep said archway in good condition at its own proper
expense and that it will to the bast of its ability maintain said archway in
good condition and will look after the decorating and repair thereof from time
to time.
