'Sec. 1. That the public interest recuired the foliow-
in:' irnprove:nent to be made
Sec. 2. That it is the intention of the City Council
of the City of Bremerton to order the imeroveelent of an alley
running east and west in Blocs. 1b of the orit°ina.l town of
Bremerton, by clearing, grubbing, gracing and paving with a
one - coarse concrete pavement, together with any and all other
work to :_finish the job in b gocd and workmanlike manner,
and to c.o such other and further work in connection therewith
as is necessary to make such improvement a complete job,
all in accordance with - plans and sr eciyica tions to be - ,laced on
file in the of ,ice or the City Clerk of the City of Th'e :ierton.
Sec. 3. The City Lngineer of the City of Jremerton is
hereby directed to submit to the City Coun_cil, at or prior to
the date fixed_ for hearings protests to said ir?-orovement, the
estimated cost and exoense of said improvement, and a statement
of the proportionate amount thereof -;which should be borne by
the ,rroperty within the proposed assessment district, and a
statement of the aggregated asseesed valuation of the real
estate , exclusive of improvements eAthin sal i. prorosed district
eceordin •: to the value last ()laced upon it for purpoees of
P:enersl taxation, together rith el diagram or print showing thereon
the lots, tracts and parcels o2 land and other property which will
be seeecially bey efitted and the estimated amount of the cost and
ex;_ense of said improvement to be borne by each lot, tract or
;arcel of land or other pro2erty.
Sec. 4. That there shall be assessed against that portion
of the go ;ert y lying between the ter "lini of said im"'roi'ement and
extcndin back on each side thereof, to the boundary of said
Slack 1b for a distance back of 120 feet from said alley margin
in the mode prescribed by 6ection 13 of Chapter 98 of the 6ession
Laws of 1911, and 6ection '4 of Chapter 168 of the ," es ion ],a of
1915, the cost of said irn rov.'ment, except such as may be borne
by the general fund.
