BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BRA It,ERTON
Sec. 1 That the public interest requires
the following improvements to be made.
Sec. 2 That it is the intention of the
City Council of the City of Bremerton to order the
improvement of Broata from the north margin of Evelyn
Street to the north margin of Nelson Street, full width.
Ralph Street from the east margin of 'Warren Avenue to
the west margin of Broadway, full width, and Marren
Avenue from north margin Evelyn Street to north margin
Nelson Street, full width, by clearing, grubbing, grad-
ing, and construction of wood sidewalks, wood box drains,
wood cross walks, wood curba and gutters, and such
other work as to complete the job in a good and work-
manlike manner, all in accordance with plans and spec-
ifications prepared for same, and to be placed on file
in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Bremerton.

Sec. 3 The City Engineer of the City of Bremerton is hereby
directed to submit to the City Council, at or prior to the date fixed fol
hearing protests to said improvement, the estimated cost and expense of
said improvement, and a statement of the proportionate amount thereof
which should be borne by the property within the proposed assessment
district and a statement of the aggregate assessed valuation of the real
estate exclusive of improvements within said proposed district according
to the value last placed upon it for purposes of general taxation, to-
gether with a diagram or print showing thereon the lots, tracts and
parcels of land and other property which will be specially benefited an,
the estimate& amount of the cost and expense of said improvement to be
borne by each lot, tract or parcel of land or other property.
Sec. 4 That there shall be assessed against that portion of
the property lying between the termini of said improvement and extending
back from the marginal line thereof to the middle of the block on each
side thereof, or a distance back one hundred twenty (120) feat from said
street margin in the mode prescribed by erection 13, Chapter 98 of the
cession Laws of the State of 'Washington for 1911, and bection 2, of
Chapter 168 of the session Laws of 1915, the cost of said improvement,
except such as may be borne by the gener1 fund.
Sec. 5 That a copy of this Resolution shall be published by
the Cit�,r Clerk in the official newspaper for at least two (2) successive
issues and therafter an the day of a. D. 1920,
this Council will hear protests against said improvement by any persons
interested. therein.

Passed by the City Council of the City of Bremerton and approvek
by me this 14th day of October, A. D. 1920.
