This letter contract is for development of a technical memorandum to document the Gorst Pump
Station design as outlined in the attached scope of services dated July 29, 2010. T'he work will
be paid on an hourly basis, in accordauce with the attach�d fee schedule; the cost of this wark is
not to exceed $16,151.
If HDR Engineerin� Inc. abrees to the above terms, please indicate acceptance by signing below

HDR has previously completed the design of the Gorst UGA Sewerage Project Pump Station
S83 and SB4 project, which is nearly complete through construction. With the startup services
beginning, the City has asked that HDR complete a design technical memorandum summarizing
the assumptions made throughout design regarding the current and future operation of the
pump station system.
Task 100 — P'roject �Aanagernent
Objective
The purpose of this task is to monitor, control and adjust of scope, schedule, and budget as well
as provide monthly status reporting, accounting, and invoicing.
HDR Services
1. Prepare a Project Management Plan (Project Guide) outlining the project scope, team
organization, schedule, and communications information. �
2. Coordinate and manage the project team.
3. Prepare monthly status reports describing with the following:
A. Services completed during the month
B. Services planned for the next month
C. Needs for additional information
D. Scope/schedule/budget issues
E. Schedule update and financial status summary
4. Prepare monthly invoices formatted in accordance with contract terms.
5. Project Manager will coordinate over the phone with City Project Manager regarding the
project scope, schedule, and budget.
Client Responsibilities
1. Attend project management meeting.
2. Timely processing and payment of invoices.
3. Review and process contract change requests and amendments, if needed.
Assumptians
1. The project duration will be 1 month.
2. Project management meeting will be canducted via telephone. No project meetings will be
conducted in Bremerton.

3. Invoices wiii be HDR standard invoice format.
4. Expense backup will not be provided with invaices but will be available for review at HDR.
Deliverables
1. Scope of services and budget (PDF file and two copies).
2. Project Management Plan (Project Guide) (PDF file).
3. Monthly report and invoice (one copy with invoice can be mailed or e-mailed PDF file).
Task 200 — Design Nlemoranelum
9bjective
Prepare a design memorandum for the Gorst Pump Stations SB3 and SB4. This subtask will
explain the design criteria used and define the various piping and pumping operational
configurations assumed during design.
HDR Services
i. Document the design criteria used for the project.
2. Prepare draft design report, including figures,
3. Prepare final design report, incorporating City review comments.
4. Provide internal review and quality control of the design report.
