SUMMARY: The monitoring & maintenance of Fire/Security Alarm Monitoring and Maintenance
of Fire/Security Alarm Systems and Fire Suppression Systems Contract of Public Works & Utilities
has expired. A Call-for-Bids was prepared, solicited and distributed in accordance with City Bid
Procedures. One (1) bid was received. The bidder was Fire One, Inc., Bremerton, Washington. This
company most recently held the contract with the city and has proven to be responsible, reliable, &
cooperative. The department requests approval of the Goods & Services Agreement for two (2) years
from September 1, 2010 to August 31, 2012.
ATTACHMENTS: Bid Proposal from Fire One, Inc.
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Funds are budgeted for the current budget year
and would be budgeted for the remaining term of the contract. $68,000.00 annually
