SUMMARY: We aze requesting to have section 12 of the Agreement which is the Termination
clause to be amended and kept in force till December 31, 2010. This is to a11ow the City time to
review the existing Agreement with the new Public Works Director and make needed corrections and
updates.

RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to approve Amendment No. 1 to Memorandum of Agreement
with Kitsap Regional Librazy and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with
substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
