SUMMARY: The Arts Commission has a continuously open registry for local artists; it was this
resource that the Arts Commission used when selecting artists for the newly renovated Municipal
Court building. One hundred forty six images from thirty Kitsap County artists were reviewed before
the commission selected Don Paulson of Seabeck as one of the two artists chosen for the Municipal
Court public art project.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): $1,000.00 for fine art prints (anticipate purchasing
five prints) and $500.00 for framing costs for a total of $1,500.00 from the 1% For Arts program
fund.
