SUMMARY: 2010 budget shows replacement of 3 patrol vehicles. This agenda bill is to request
approval to have those vehicles outfitted with all appropriace police equipment. We utilize a company
named Systems for Public Safety under an approved contract with the City of Lakewood. The City of
BremeRon has an interlocal agreement with the City of Lakewood to use this contract. The cost of
out�tting these 3 vehicles is $31,450.59 including Washington state sales tax.
ATTACHMENTS: Copy of interlocal with City of Lakewood, Copy of estimate from Systems for
Public Safety inc.
FISCAL IMPACTS (�nclude Budgeted Amount): 2 of these vehicles are funded thru Equipment
Rental Reserve and the third is funded thru insurance payoff due to a totaled vehicle in 2009.
