SUMMARY: The City's W Treatment Facility project is currently under construction and HDR
Engineering Inc. will provide necessary construction support services as outlined in this Contract
Modification No. 1. These services were not outlined in the original Professional Services Agreement
as it was unclear at the time what level of effort would be required. The scope and budget for this
work is attached to the Contract Modification as Exhibit A This modification increases the budget by
$343,616.00 for a total contract amount of $1,193,805.00.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The revised amount of the Professional Services

RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to approve the Professional Services Agreement Contract
Modification Number 1 with HDR Engineering Inc for the UV Treatment Facility and authorize the
Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as
presented.
