SUMMARY: The Kitsap County/City of Bremerton Agreement for Incarceration of City Prisoners
established the incarceration/detention, presentation of confinement, duration, operation standards,
- remittal of bail monies, transportation, medical and dental care, general provisions, billing, limitation
�� of assignments and hold harmless terms between the City and the County for jail services. The
amount is for $550,000.00 for the first year of the contract and contains a CPI adjustment for the �
second year of the contract. ,

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): For 2010 the City has placed $652,000.00 in the
General Fund Non-Departmental budget for the care and custody of prisoners. The agreement
amount, $550,000.00 is included.
