SUMMARY: The City has negotiated a Professional Services Agreement with Parametrix, an
engineering consultant, to provide engineering services for pre-design of the Washington Avenue
Sewer Replacement project. This project will replace the Washington Avenue beach main with an
upland sewer system consisting of a combination of a gravity system and a low pressure sewer
system. Parametrix will provide engineering design support and related project management to
develop the pre-design report.
ATTACHMENTS: 1) Council Summary, 2) Professional Services Agreement
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The amount of the Professional Services
Agreement is not to exceed $81,488. The pre-design is funded by rates. The project is included in the
2010 budget.
