SUBJECT: Purchase of Easement from Committee Meeting Date: January 13, 2010

SUMMARY: The City needs to purchase an easement across 2625 Shipview Court, owned by Roger
Aiken, to serve the adjacent property. Both Mr. Aiken's property and the adjacent property were
served from the 24" water main in SR3 that was abandoned for sewer use, and have been connected to
a temporary service. City obtained an appraisal for the easement, which was appraised at $4,500.00.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The easement will cost $4,500.00. This will be a
project cost of the Southwest Bremerton Residential Sewer Extension.
