SUMMARY:
The City's Gold Mountain Golf Management Agreement with Scott Alexander's Golf Shop Inc. will
expire on December 31 S ` 2009. This amendment will extend the current agreement for one additional
year to D,ec. 31 S ` 2010. The additional year will allow the parties to enter into negotiations to reach a
longer term agreement reflective of the opportunities provided by the refinance of Gold Mountain's
debt from tax exempt to taxable financing.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The amendment's fiscal impact is consistent with
the amount budgeted for Golf Services in the 2010 Budget.

I move to approve the amendment to the Gold Mountain Golf Club management agreement extending
the term by one year to December 31 St , 2010 and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute and the
agreement in substantially the same form as presented.
