SUMMARY:
The Professional Services Agreement with Ed Faulk Operations LLC, for Greens Superintendent
Services at Gold Mountain Golf Club expires on December 31 S ` 2009. This amendment will extend
the current agreement for one additional year to December 31 2010. The extension will allow the
City and Ed Faulk Operations LLC time needed to assess the opportunity and circurnstances presented
by the recent refinancing of Gold Mountain debt from tax exempt to taxable.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Amendment is consistent with the amount
budgeted for Greens Superintendent Services in the 2010 Budget.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
I move to approve the amendment to the Gold Mountain Golf Club Greens Superintendent Agreement
extending the agreemnent to Dec. 31 St 2010 and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the
agreement in substantially the same form as presented.
