SUMMARY: The proposed ordinance amends Appendix A of Section 15.06.015 of the BMC
relating to assessments, rates, fees, and charges for municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater
services by establishing new rates for all categories to implement a 3% rate increase effective January
1, 2010 and an additional 3% rate increase effective July 1, 2010.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The proposed rate increases are built into the
proposed 2010 budget.
