SUMMARY: Sealed bids for the pre - purchase of UV treatment equipment for the UV Treatment
Facility were opened on November 18,.2009. The Engineer's Estimate for thi s&;o ect is $500,000 to
$700,000. iZ bids were received for this project. C4 C&P bo n was the
lowest responsive, responsible bidder with a bid of $ 472 . 1 1 D q 2 , O D (including estimated
sales tax). Award is contingent on the Washington State Deartment of Health approval of the third
party equipment validation report.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This project is funded by federal stimulus monies
from the'Drinking Water State Revolving Fund American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009
( DWSRF ARRA). The forgivable principle DWSRF Loan for this project has been executed. The
budgeted amount for this project identified in the 2009 Budget is $2,500,000. Total project is
estimated at $7,240,000.
