In the immediate vicinity of any building or portion thereof in excess of 28 feet in height, the fire apparatus access road shall have an unobstructed width of not less than 26 feet and an unobstructed vertical clearance of not less than 13 feet 6 inches. 3. At least one of the required fire apparatus access roads shall be located a minimum of 15 feet and a maximum of 25 feet from each building on the premises and shall be positioned parallel to one entire side of each building. The measurement for this requirement shall be taken from the exterior wall of the building to the nearest edge of the fire apparatus access road. IFC/BMC503.2.1 7. The Alarm panel shall have all instructions, the system account number, and maintenance phone number shall be provided. All alarm systems shall be addressable other than Level II retro-fits, and expansion of an existing system. All new alarm systems in Level III structures shall be addressable.
