SUMMARY: The City's property taxes are levied on an annual basis through passage of an
ordinance. The proposed ordinance will implement a general property tax levy and a voted EMS levy
at the statutory rate limit as well as a bond redemption levy at a rate adequate to provide funds
necessary to meet debt service obligations.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The proposed 2010 budget anticipates a general
property tax levy of $6,204,859, an EMS levy of $1,445,615, and a bond levy of $887,700 based on
this action.
