SUMMARY: In 1998 the City signed an Interlocal agreement with Kitsap County in order to
participate in the County's contract and bidding process. The agreement has been automatically
renewed each year. This year the County requested a new contract be executed in order to continue to
participate in the program. Departments throughout the City benefit from this program and the cost
savings from the cooperative purchasing and bidding process.
