SUMMARY: An Automated Digital playback system will replace the system that has been used and
upgraded at BKAT since 1988. Requests for Proposals were sent out to three businesses on August
12, 2009. Three responses were received on August 27, 2009.
BKAT prefer's the mid range bid of Mediastar -sg. In our look to the future of TV and commu-
nication this system will be the most user - friendly and fits into that vision. It will give the channel a
fresh new look.
ATTACHMENTS: Summary
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The purchase of a cablecast system is included in
the BKAT Capital Improvement Plan. There is currently $88,000.00 in the Capital budget
