SUMMARY: The City Attorney's Office uses West for its Westlaw legal research subscriptions.
With the addition of personnel in the prosecution division, the City Attorney's Office needs to add
two attorneys and orx1egal assistant to its subscription. The proposed three -year contract, with the
additional personnel added, will increase the current contract by approximately $120 per month, with
a 5% CPI adjustment on each anniversary of the contract. The total three -year cost for the contract
will be approximately $37,500.
ATTACHMENTS: Proposed contract with West
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The City Attorney's Office budget has sufficient
funds available in the 2009 budget to fund the increased contract amount.
