SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
Wednesday, August 19, 2009
The Special Meeting of the Bremerton Transportation Benefit District (TBD) was called to order in the
First Floor Meeting Chambers of the NORM DICKS GOVERNMENT CENTER, 345 6 Street, Bremerton,
Washington, Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at approximately 6:22 PM, with Chair of the TBD Board
Nick Wofford presiding. Board Members present were Will Maupin, Carol Arends, Dianne Robinson,
Roy Runyon, Adam Brockus, and Cecil McConnell. Board Members Brad Gehring and Mike
Shepherd were absent. Also present were City Clerk Carol Etgen and Council Assistant Christine
Grenier.
BUSINESS ITEM (1) – APPROVE MINUTES OF BREMERTON TRANSPORTATION BENEFIT
DISTRICT (TBD) MEETING HELD ON AUGUST 4, 2009: The first item of business was to approve
the meeting minutes from the Bremerton Transportation Benefit District Meeting held on August 4,
2009.
There were no comments from the public or the Board Members...

BUSINESS ITEM (2) – RESOLUTION NO. 003 OF THE BREMERTON TRANSPORTATION
BENEFIT DISTRICT, APPOINTING CITIZENS TO "PRO" AND "CON" COMMITTEES TO WRITE
STATEMENTS FOR THE NOVEMBER 3, 2009 GENERAL ELECTION VEHICLE FEE BALLOT
INITIATIVE: Chair Nick Wofford explained that Holly James and Eric Anderson have volunteered to
write the Pro statements for the vehicle fee ballot initiative.
There were no comments from the public or the Board Members...
06:24:00 M /S /C (Brockus /McConnell) Move to pass Resolution No. 003 of the Bremerton
Transportation Benefit District Board appointing citizens to "Pro" and "Con" Committees to write
statements for the vehicle fee ballot initiative.
Voted in favor of Motion: Brockus, Runyon, Arends, Maupin, McConnell, Wofford
Voted opposed to Motion: Robinson
Motion carried; 6 -Yes; 1 -No
With no further business, Chair of the TBD Board Nick Wofford adjourned the meeting at 6:24 PM.
