SUMMARY:
Ordinance number 5 0<0 ~ establishes Public Defense Service standards for the City of
Bremerton. The City of Bremerton is required to adopt standards for indigent clients based on the
acceptance of a Public Defense Grant Award in 2008. This ordinance establishes qualifications for
attorneys that perform Public Defense in Bremerton, training requirements for Public Defense
Attorneys, and case load limitations as well as the types of case assignments.
