SUMMARY: The JAG grant award allows the Police Department and City to preserve and sustain
law enforcement personnel staffing levels. The grant is from the Department of Justice, Bureau of
Justice. No matching funds are required ofthe City. The total grant amount is $59,540.00. The grant
duration is October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2012.
ATTACHMENTS: Acceptance Award Documentation
FISCAL IMP ACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): None. The JAG funding is a revenue source for
$59,540.00. It will provide dollars for preserving law enforcement staffing levels.
