SUMMARY: The approved 2009 ERR budget shows replacement of a street sweeper. The current
sweeper is a 2003 Elgin crosswind. The replacement will be a 2010 Elgin crosswind. King County
has an open contract with Elgin for the Crosswind. The total cost is $231,338.09 including sales tax.
The authorized dealer is Owen Equipment Company of Portland, Oregon. The replaced sweeper will
be retained in the fleet and used as a backup. This replacement is fully funded through the ERR 510
fund.
ATTACHMENTS: Owen Equipment option and pricing sheet and copy ofinterlocal agreement with
King County
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Vehicle replacement is fully funded through the
ERR fund.
