SUMMARY: The southern collection system for the Gorst Sewerage Project runs along the SR16
right-of-way fronting the property owned by the MGD Family Limited Partnership. Due to the
constricted right-of-way, easements are required for the new sanitary sewers. The requested action
before Council is approval of the purchase of an easement from the MGD Family Limited Partnership
in the amount of$II,088.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The 2009 Wastewater Fund Capital Budget is
$7,105,000. $1,280,000 is included in the current budget for the Gorst Sewerage Project. Project
easement impact of $11 ,088 plus closing costs.
