SUMMARY: Sealed bids to clean the project titled "28-inch Outfall Line on SR 304" were opened
on June 30, 2009. T.wo bids were received for this project. Northern Con-Agg, LLP. was the lowest
responsive, responsible bidder with a bid of $36,224.40 (including sales tax). In discussions with a
company specializing in this type of work, initial projections for the cost was in the range of $50,000
to $70,000. The second bid received was a bid of $65,594.80 (including sales tax).

RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to award a contract in the amount of $36,224.40 (including
sales tax) with Northern Con-Agg, LLP to clean the project titled "28-inch Outfall Line on SR 304"
and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and
conditions as presented.
