ORDINANCE NO. .!J.1k.1
AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, Washington amending Ordinance No. 4956 which
adopted Appendix A of Section 15.06.015 of the Bremerton
Municipal Code relating to assessments, rates, fees, and charges
for municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater services to make
corrections to the Retail Wastewater Service Rates to establish new
rates as intended in that ordinance.
WHEREAS, City Council adopted Ordinance No. 4956 on November 30, 2005,
which adopted new assessments, rates, fees and charges for municipal water, wastewater, and
stormwater services; and
WHEREAS, the Retail Wastewater Service Rates adopted by Ordinance No. 4956
did not incorporate the increases as intended; and
WHEREAS, City Council desires to amend Ordinance No. 4956 in order to
establish the increase as designated and intended in Ordinance No. 4956; NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Page 4 of Appendix A of Section 15.06.015 ofthe Bremerton
Municipal Code as adopted by Ordinance No. 4956 is hereby amended to make corrections to the
Retail Wastewater Service Rates to read as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference, as intended in Ordinance No. 4956.
SECTION 2. Section 1 of this Ordinance shall be effective January 1, 2006 or on
the effective date ofthis ordinance, whichever is later.
SECTION 3. Severabilitv. If anyone or more sections, subsections, or sentences
of this Ordinance are held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the
validity of the remaining portion of this Ordinance and the same shall remain in full force and
effect.
SECTION 4. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force ten
(10) days from and after its passage, approval, and publication as provided by law.
