SUMMARY: Sealed bids for construction of the project titled "Pacific Avenue Basin Stormwater
Collection System" were opened on June 4, 2009. The engineer's estimate for this project is
$1,315,000. itL- bids were received for this project. "a.pe s: Sbn5 Cot1mu.c\-iol1
was the lowest responsive, responsible bidder with a bid of$_;~~--~.slf5..~ ~~_ (including
sales tax). This Contract will not be awarded until the EP A has appr6~ed the lowest responsive,
responsible bidder.
ATTACHMENTS: 1.) Council Summary, 2.) Map, and 3.) Bid Tabulation.
FISCAL IMPACTS: The project is funded by an EPA STAG Grant and a Public Works Trust Fund
loan. The engineer's estimate for construction was $1,315,000. The 2009 budget for this project is
$1,400,000.
