SUMMARY: The Bremerton Housing Authority (BHA) wishes to redevelop the World War II
vintage housing area known as Westpark. BHA has petitioned the City of Bremerton to vacate all the
roadways within the boundaries as Bay Vista Commons assisted senior housing complex. As phases
of development are completed, BHA will be conveying new roadways to the City. This right-of-way
is Class I, as it was conveyed to the City in fee title by quit claim dated August 10, 1951.
Cpmpensation will be paid in the form of a dedication of like-kind in Bay Vista to the satisfaction of
the City for the relocation of the roadway for the anticipated redevelopment of Bay Vista.
