A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, Washington, approving State Revolving Fund Loan(s)
(SRF) for Design and Construction of the Gorst Sewerage Project,
and the Gorst Septic System Replacement Project.
WHEREAS, the Department of Ecology, a Washington State Agency, has
established a State Revolving Fund (SRF) for providing financial assistance for municipal work;
and
WHEREAS, the SRF loans are available for a portion of the cost of Design and
Construction of a sewer collection system in the Gorst Urban Growth Area; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton desires to participate in the loan(s) from said
SRF, and
WHEREAS, a requirement to participate requires a resolution of the governing
body authorizing the City of Bremerton to receive said SRF loans; NOW THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, WASHINGTON,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City of Bremerton desires to participate in the SRF L0811
Program.
SECTION 2. The City Council ofthe City of Bremerton does hereby authorize
the City of Bremerton to receive an SRF Loan and to take such other actions as are necessary and
relevant to the SRF Loan Program.
SECTION 3. Severability. If anyone or more sections, subsections, or
sentences of this Resolution are held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portion of this Resolution and the same shall remain in full
force and effect. .
SECTION 4. Effective Date. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage.
