SUMMARY: The Bremerton City Council adopted the 2009 annual City budget by Ordinance No.
5071 on December 3, 2008. Current revenue projections anticipate a shortfall in budgeted revenue.
A combination of new revenue and expenditure reductions as addressed in the Plan to Address the
City's Projected Financial Shortfall, dated March 25, 2009, is proposed.
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): General Fund departmental budgets will be
reduced by $1,450,000 for 2009.
