Through a partnership with Trophy Lake Golf and Casting Club, McCormick Woods Golf Course, and The silverdale Beach Hotel, Gold Mountain has established a "Stay and Play Program" that brings tourism, and especially golfers, to the City of Bremerton and Kitsap County. i 50 far in 2008, this program has brought in over $125,000 to our region. This $125,000 was derived strictly from lodging and golf through our "Stay and Play Program". Above and beyond these dollars is the money spent by these tourists in our restaurants, grocery stores, movie theaters, and on a host of other activities. Our goal with this submittal is to expand the program by concentrating on Bremerton. To do this we need to expand the geographical markets that we visit to promote this program. Our goal is to triple the revenue from $125,000 to $375,000. Most of this additional revenue will be targeted to Bremerton hotels, restaurants, and shops.
