SUMMARY: Seattle SMSA Limited Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless has submitted a proposed
lease agreement for the City-owned communications tower located at 1925 E. Cheryl Street,
Bremerton, W A. Verizon is requesting a five-year lease with two five-year options to renew with
CPI included in the lease and a starting monthly payment of$1300.00 per month. Currently, only
one lessee is now on this tower and they are reducing their presence by two-thirds in the near future.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Increased revenues to the City of$15,600 per
year.

I did find some email correspondence between Paul Lucas and Andy King that indicated some concerns
on the Cheryl site. Please see below. Hope this will close this out. Now we need to find a new tenant!

Bill- per your request, Seattle SMSA Limited Partnership d/b/a Verizon
Wireless never executed the City of Bremerton Telecommunications
Facility Lease to mount their antennas onto the City of Bremerton's existing lattice tower located at
1925 NE Cheryl Street in Bremerton and they do not intend to execute the lease at this location as the
site apparently does not meet Verizon Wireless' local RF coverage needs.
