SUMMARY: USA Mobility Wireless has been on the City's Cheryl Street Tower for some four
years without a lease, but paying monthly including CPI increases. When notified of this, they
quickly asked for a lease and sent back the one before the Council now. Currently, they are paying
$770.72 per month, but wish to reduce that to $500.00 per month as they are removing 2/3 oftheir
antennas on the tower. They also only wish a three year lease with one three year renewal option.
Although revenues will be reduced by this, with Verizon leasing the tower, their lease will increase
revenues by $15,600 per year off-setting any loss with USA Mobility.
ATTACHMENTS: Proposed Lease Agreement with USA Mobility Wireless, Inc.
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Reduced revenues of approximately $2500.00 per
year.

Move to approve the attached lease with USA Mobility Wireless, Inc. and authorize the Mayor to
finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
