SUMMARY: Falcon Video Communications, L.P. was issued a franchise to operate a cable
television system in Bremerton by Ordinance No. 4635 on November 4, 1998. ' Charter
Communications Holding Company, LLC was granted control of Falcon Video Communications,
L.P.'s holdings in the cable franchise by Resolution No. 2724 on August 18, 1999.
Assignment and Conveyance of the cable television system franchise was approved by Resolution No.
2905 on September 24,2003 to Wave Division IV, LLC. This Resolution also authorized the sale and
conveyance of the membership and other ownership interests from Wave Division IV, LLC to
WaveDivision Holdings, LLC. The cable television system franchise with WaveDivision Holdings,
LLC expires on December 8, 2008.
WaveDivision Holdings, LLC has requested the renewal of the cable television system franchise and
is agreeable to an extension of the current franchise in order to allow adequate time for the public
outreach and negotiation process. Staff is requesting a six-month extension of the contract to June 8,
200.9.
