SUMMARY: The action before City Council is to approve Phase I of the East Park Final Plat. The
Council previously took action on this project by approving the East Park Sub Area Plan through
Ordinance 4962 in January of2006. Preliminary Plat approval was granted by the Administrative
Hearings Examiner in June of2006 for the subdivision of 48 acres into 454 housing units. This
proposal will grant final approval for 86 lots, associated open space tracts and Right of Way. The
applicant has met all of the conditions of the Preliminary Plat approval for this phase and therefore the
City Engineer and Community Development Director are recommending Final Plat approval.
