SUMMARY: The action before the Council is to conduct a public hearing and the consideration of
the 2008 Comprehensive Plan Amendment Docket. The amendment docket contains both
comprehensive plan text and map changes and are summarized as follows: 1) Cartographic updates to
the Official Land Use Map, 2) Land use map change for Fire Station #2 on Oyster Bay Ave., 3) Land
use designation for the South Kitsap Industrial Area (SKIA) Urban Growth Area (UGA)
4) Establishing land use equivalencies for Bremerton-associated UGA's, and 5) Establishing land use
designations for City-owned parcels outside of City limits.
