SUMMARY: The City has received an offer to purchase the property commonly known as the
CenCom property and an adjacent parcel currently owned by Kitsap County for $505,000. Kitsap
County has agreed to transfer its property to the City in order to facilitate the sale in exchange for
compensation in the amount of$100,000 to be paid from the proceeds of the sale. In the event the
sale to the Johnsons does not close, the City will have the option to purchase the adjacent property.
The proposed resolution approves the interlocal agreement with Kitsap County for the transfer of its
parcel and authorizes the sale of the entire property to the Johnsons
