SUMMARY: The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is constructing the
Bremerton Ferry Tunnel Project which will include work benefiting the City. The work includes
tunnel form liners, brick pavers atld irrigation for hanging baskets. The agreement identifies the work
to be performed by WSDOT and reimbursed by the City.
ATTACHMENTS: 1. The Council Summary, 2. City Participating Agreement
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The estimated cost of$186,300 will be
reimbursed to WSDOT in 2009. Funding will be included in the following 2009 budgets: $85,650 in
the Arterial Street Fund, $40,650 in the HarborsideMemorial Plaza & Commons Fund, and $60,000
in the General Fund.

Participating Agreement for certain work performed by the Washington State Department of

and conditions as presented.
