SUMMARY: The City entered into an, agreement with Helix Design Group, Inc. to provide
architectural and engineering services to support the building additions to the main operations and
warehouse buildings. The addition to main operation building is approximately 1,400 square feet of
storage space for electronic parts and equipment. The warehouse addition is approximately 1,800
square foot addition for Sign Shop storage, fabrication and equipment. The contract design fee to
perform this service is $30,770.00. See Exhibit B, Compensation.
The request before Council is the approval of this PSA with Helix Design Group, Inc. in the amount
of $30,770.00.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The Professional Services Agreement is in the
amount of $30,770.00. The 2008 Water Capital Fund 401, "Oyster Bay Facility Remodel &
Expansion" in the amount of $400,000 shall support this agreement.

RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to approve this Professional Services Agreement with Helix
Design Group, Inc. and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially
the same terms and conditions as presented.
