SUMMARY: On July 30,2008, the City Council passed Ordinance No. 5053 annexing certain
property known as SKIA North into the City of Bremerton and establishing the effective date of the
annexation as October 1,2008 if Boundary Review Board jurisdiction is not invoked. The Boundary
Review Board's initial 45 day review period will expire on or about October 8, 2008, after the stated
effective date of the annexation set forth in Ordinance No. 5053. The proposed ordinance extends the
effective date of the annexation to November 15, 2008 if Boundary Review Board jurisdiction is not
invoked during the initial review period.
