SUMMARY: The Fire Department and Equipment Services has determined to surplus a 35 year old
ladder truck, a 1973 Seagraves 100" aerial ladder. After several years of unsuccessful attempts to get
money for the vehicle, the Fire Department has decided with council approve, to exchange services
with Bates Technical College. The exchange will be for 4 slots at the fire recruit training academy,
total value at today's dollars is $15,200.
